HP Software Trial License Periods
HP software tools all have have different trial licensing periods. This is a short list of the demo license details for the major products.
Functional Testing
- QuickTest Pro: 14 days. Single seat license with all default add-ins.
- Quality Center: 10 days. 5 concurrent users only.
Performance Testing
- LoadRunner: 10 days. 25 vusers with all protocols and all monitors.
Note that VuGen and Analysis do not require a license. - Diagnostics: The Diagnostics Server does not have a trial license.
The Diagnostics Profiler for .NET and J2EE is available for free, but is limited to 5 concurrent threads. - SiteScope: 10 days. 1000 points.
Note that a special version called SiteScope for LoadRunner is available that is free if you have purchased LoadRunner. - Performance Center: no trial license available.
Web Security Testing
- WebInspect: 15 days. Must register on HP website to receive key. Restricted to scanning the demo website (http://zero.webappsecurity.com).
- QAInspect: 15 days. Restricted to scanning the demo website.
- Assessment Management Platform (AMP): no trial license available.
Application Monitoring
- Diagnostics: The Diagnostics Server does not have a trial license.
The Diagnostics Profiler for .NET and J2EE is available for free, but is limited to 5 concurrent threads. - SiteScope: 10 days. 1000 points.
