JDS to host IT End-User Monitoring Conference in Melbourne

Gain greater insight into your applications: Tuesday 27th March 2012.

JDS, a leading IT consulting company that specialises in application performance through technical testing and IT monitoring, today announced that it will host an IT monitoring conference.

Created out of a heightened awareness by organisations wanting to prevent risks associated with poor application availability and performance, JDS has convened a conference focused on obtaining visibility into the real performance of critical business applications. Special guest speaker Nik Dimitropoulos, Head of Service Delivery at AIA, will provide insight into real-world IT monitoring and how to apply it effectively for improved IT outcomes.

Delegates will hear how enterprises can incorporate HP Business Services Manager (HP BSM) to proactively monitor the performance of business critical IT services and relate this performance to the underlying applications, networks and systems. Used to simulate user activity, monitor real-user activity, and diagnose where the potential problem lies right down to the application code level, information will be shared on how to use HP BSM to mitigate the risk of critical application outages.

“When it comes to infrastructure and application performance, you can accurately anticipate issues before they impact your business. If you have critical business applications such as ERP systems and websites, you simply can’t afford not to monitor your environment. It improves your services levels, reduces downtime, and can save significant remedial costs,” said John Bearsley, Managing Director, JDS.
